I highly recommend John Handrick’s Mommy and Me Fit Camp. While working out with John twice a week for eight weeks, I lost 16 pounds and dropped 2 pant sizes. I love my added energy and my posture has greatly improved. Also, my 4 year old daughter is very excited when she gets to exercise with mommy and I love that I am being a great role model, teaching her the benefits of eating healthy and having an active lifestyle. John is able to incorporate the kids into our exercise routine so it’s great that I can have both of my daughters with me if I need to. He also understands that, as a mom, I carry lots of bags and my kids around all day so focusing on “mommy muscles” has been a huge benefit. When I first heard about the Mommy and Me Fit Camp, I was worried that it would be like other group exercise programs my neighbors had participated in. They would come home bruised and sick to their stomachs. John knows how to push you without taking you over your limits and, even in a group setting, modifying exercises to meet each individuals needs.

I continued exercising on my own after Boot Camp ended last April and I am proud to say that I have lost 37 lbs to date and I am feeling GREAT! You played a big part in my success and even though it’s tough to stay motivated when exercising alone, I do it at least 5 times a week and it is now habit. | Injury rehab and baseball specific training
"Our 14 year old son, Kevin was diagnosed with multiple lumbar stress fractures in his spine in the fall of 2007. These were treated with a 3-month period of rigid back bracing which was to be followed by a strength, conditioning and rehabilitation program. A colleague referred us to John Handrick for Kevin’s rehabilitation and conditioning with the strongest possible recommendation.
Over the course of three months of carefully conducted progressive rehabilitation, John’s conditioning and physical rehabilitation program helped Kevin return to his maximal athletic performance level. In addition, John’s rehabilitation program improved Kevin’s overall physical condition through detailed fitness training and nutritional education. This resulted in unequivocal improvements in Kevin’s physical strength, flexibility, and speed. These translated into very successful return to competitive athletics (football and baseball). Moreover, we saw substantive benefits that we believe will be lifelong benefits for Kevin. These include the development of an understanding of the appropriate daily nutritional intake required to achieve a lean muscular physique and detailed understanding of correct exercise technique to avoid further injury and preferably strengthen specific muscle groups. These aggregate benefits facilitated Kevin’s complete recovery from his stress fractures, his successful return to competitive athletics, and perhaps most importantly, have had a long lasting positive impact on Kevin’s self image.
